The Book Exchange is a convivial event where each child is invited to choose a book from his or her personal library that he or she likes (or doesn’t like!), and bring it to school to exchange it with a classmate. The principle is simple, and relies on the participation of children and their parents: together, you choose a book to exchange for another, brought in by another pupil.
This collective and individual action promotes the value of exchange, while giving a second life to a cultural object. A book that no longer interests your child can become a source of discovery for one of his or her classmates.
To make this experience even more memorable, each pupil will receive a special bookmark, a symbol of this moment of sharing, which will help build their memory at Jardinet.
